PHYSICS OF WAVE PHENOMENA
This academic journal was first published in 1993 as an international topical supplement to the well-known Bulletin of the Russian Academy of Sciences. Physics and beginning in 1998 Physics of Wave Phenomena (formerly, Physics of Vibrations) has become a separate quarterly publication. It is published under the combined auspices of the Wave Research Center, General Physics Institute, Russian Academy of Sciences and the United Physical Society of the Russian Federation. Reviews, research papers, letters, and brief communications in the journal reflect recent theoretical and experimental achievements in the modern physics of vibrations and waves, including a variety of applications in fundamental areas of phenomenology and technology. The journal provides a forum for active researchers in these related fields, and is of particular interest to scholars, scientists, and engineers working on a broad interdisciplinary front.
Published quarterly.
